Who we are?
The HOME OF PERFORMANCE PRACTICES at ArtEZ University of the Arts is an incubator for artistic research around the Body in Performance and its wider Ecology. Within its setting of de-disciplined and diverse thinking, the HOME promotes performance-making as a strategy for equitable societies at the core of the HOME is the accredited MA Performance Practices. The programme is at the forefront of rigorous artistic and intellectual enquiry and facilitated by a team of internationally renowned practitioners and researchers. Students design rigorous lines of research, investigating, challenging, and reshaping the role of the artist, contributing to the advancement of performance in their chosen field.

The MA Performance Practices at the HOME OF PERFORMANCE PRACTICES and ArtEZ University are currently looking for a programme coordinator with experience in finances, communication, and events management.
What will you do?
Prepare and manage hiring contracts for lecturers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Coordinate activities for all lecturers, including scheduling, communication, and support to facilitate smooth programme delivery.
Handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial speculations based on student numbers and teaching hours to optimize resource allocation.
Manage online campaigns for recruiting new students, utilizing social media and other digital platforms to attract prospective applicants.
Maintain and update online platforms, including the learning environment for students, to enhance engagement and support throughout the programme.
Your profile
Strong organizational skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines, including preparing contracts, coordinating activities for lecturers, and handling administrative issues.
Excellent communication skills: Capable of conveying information clearly and supportively to colleagues and stakeholders, facilitating smooth collaboration and resolving any issues that may arise.
Financial acumen: Proficient in bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial speculation based on relevant parameters such as student numbers and teaching hours to ensure efficient use of resources.
Digital proficiency: Experienced in managing online platforms, including social media for student recruitment and online learning environments for student engagement and support.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, education, or arts management.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within an academic or arts-related context.
Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Cultural sensitivity, with experience working in diverse academic or artistic environments.
Proficiency in English, and knowledge of Dutch. Any additional languages are a plus, particularly if relevant to the programme's international staff and student population.
What do we offer?We offer a temporary contract 0,6-0,8 FTE for one year, with the possibility of extension of your contract based on your performance. Depending on experience, the gross monthly salary is a minimum of 3370, - and a maximum of € 4.582,91,( Coördinator onderwijsorganisatie scale 9) or 3.370,- and a maximum of € 5,019.73 (Coördinator onderwijsorganisatie scale 10 ) based on a 36-hour working week. In addition to an informal and open working atmosphere, we offer attractive employment conditions in accordance with the HBO Collective Labor Agreement, such as a holiday allowance of 8%, an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and good study and development opportunities. The work mainly takes place in Arnhem.
Besides an informal and open working atmosphere, we offer attractive terms of employment according to the CAO-HBO. We have attractive fringe benefits, such as 10 weeks of vacation at 1 fte and a 40-hour work week (and pro rata depending on your fte filling). Location is Arnhem.
